Granite
Granite originates deep beneath the Earth’s surface, taking thousands of years to form. As molten magma is pushed between rock layers and gradually cools, it solidifies into granite. Its unique crystalline structure is created by trace minerals embedded in the rock. During this process, granite forms into one of the hardest and most durable stones, making it ideal for architectural purposes, countertops, and vanities. The stone’s color varies based on the minerals fused within, offering a wide range of natural hues and textures, making granite a versatile choice for any design.
“Granite is a symbol of status and luxury”
We offer both Gang saw and Block cutter granite options to suit your needs.
Gang saw Granite:
A gang saw is a large multi-blade machine used for slicing across and through granite blocks. The block rests on the blade, and the machine’s back-and-forth motion cuts through the stone. Gang saws are typically used to produce large slabs from the block, which are ideal for projects requiring greater height, making them especially popular in architectural designs.
Single and Multi-disc or Block cutter Granite:
This method uses a circular saw with either a single or multiple blades to cut granite blocks. The resulting slabs are generally smaller than those produced by gang saws.
At Dev International, we provide a full range of granite products, including blocks, slabs, and modular tiles, available in various sizes and thicknesses to fit your personal style and preferences.
