Browntop millet is distributed in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Malawi, Myanmar; Nepal, Senegal, South Africa, Yemen and Zimbabwe [1] grown mostly in southern India [2], and in some parts of the USA as a fodder crop and bird feed. Brown top millet grows and matures over around 90 days, a shorter time than several other millets including pearl millet [3].
